Medicine International worked in conjunction with Stanford University and Child Family Health International (CHFI) to set up a medical exchange program in Mongolia. Drs. Michael Mouri, and Herb Sigmond and Kristina Park (linguist, traditional medicine) traveled to UlaanBatar, Mongolia. While there, we collaborated with the Mongolian Orphans Association and visited the two medical schools (Western and traditional) in Mongolia. We were able to set up a program at the traditional medical school for medical students from the West. Students would spend half rotation riding ambulances with Mongolian physicians responding to medical emergencies.
