What We Do

We currently represent more than two hundred qualified physicians and other health care personnel, providing services in four major areas:

* Emergency Medical Disaster Response throughout the world

Our Business History

Dr. Herb Sigmond, who trained with Nobel laureate Dr. Albert Schweitzer in French Equatorial Africa, formed Adventure Medicine in 1989. The organization and its members adhere to Dr. Schweitzer's philosophy of Reverence for Life.

The organization was reorganized in 1999 as Medicine International to reflect an increasing role in humanitarian relief and direct emergency medical response to international disasters. MI is under the current leadership of Dr. Mark Stinson.
